All of you doing the Christmas Sale know what a problem we have had getting those Wilmar W2389 LED flashlights. As this is written, some of you still have not received any. We expect that that to be fixed tomorrow or Wednesday, as we have about 90 more displays coming. These things have been wildly popular at $3.99, and are selling out all over the country as fast as they come in.
I am now finalizing the January in-store sale flyer. One of the poster items is that same W2389 flashlight, only it's advertised at $2.99. This was determined long before the first lights came in, and there was no way to know they would sell out like they have. I can put the item in the sale flyer and let you use the paster, or we can omit it from the flyer, and not use the poster at all.
PRO: It's a hot item, a lot of people came in for them and left empty-handed. By offering them again at an even better deal, we can make amends for December.
CON: Why sell them for $2.99 when we can sell out of them for $3.99 or more? Also, we could easily run out yet again. from what I hear, the national pipeline is nowhere close to full. The order due to hit this week may be the last we get for a while.
