Each shipment is packed with an insertion order detailing the date of delivery. It is also faxed to them.
It also tells them who they need to invoice - Montgomery Advertising, not your store.
Some newspapers may jump the gun and stick them in the next issue going out the door.
If you know the folks at your local paper, it's a good idea to call them and tell them when you want your flyers to go out - May 30 or 31, or as close to that as possible.
The company that issues the insertion orders is also the company that pays the bill.
